$75 Registration Fee for All Late Sign Up Players, All Ages and All Levels
The Calimesa Youth Baseball and Softball Organization is a non profit youth athletic program focusing on baseball and softball for both boys and girls. As a youth athletic organization, our purpose is to develop a competitive, affordable youth sports program which establishes core principals and goals in the boys and girls to become young men and women of our local Calimesa community.

Below is a player pre-registration checklist to help ensure you have a smooth and quick sign up experience.
To be eligable to play Baseball or Softball, CYBS requires 7 IMPORTANT ITEMS TO REGISTER.
1. Download and fill out completely the Player Registration Application
2. Download and complete the Player Insurance Waiver
3. Download and complete the Parent Conduct Policy for each Parent
4. Download and complete the Player Medical Release
5. Download and complete the Player Content Consent Release
6. Download and complete the Player Shirt Size Form
7. Locate your childs Original Birth Certificate.
8. Make payment thru Zelle or while at one of seven sign ups Days
CYBS REQUIRES the Original Issued Birth Certificate for age verification. DO NOT bring a copy or photograph copy of the certificate, it will not be accecpted and your child will not be registered to participate until CYBS approves the Original Certificate.
CYBS acknowledges how busy schedules impact the ability to attend in person required events. We are happy to announce that we have nade the registration process a bit less time consuming while attending one of the seven in person registration dates to complete the age verification requirement for your child to be a CYBS officially verified registration.
CYBS Registration Payment Options
CYBS has made paying for registration as easy as possible. You can pay with traditional methods, (Check, Cash, Money Order, Cashiers Check) or electronic payments with Tap to Pay at the sign ups location and thru Zelle Systems anytime. Tap to Pay adds $2 bank fees to the $75 Registration fee. To pay with Zelle, use donations@playcybs.com to send payment with no fees.
CYBS has electronic payment set up on the Zelle System which is available with most all banking options available. Calimesa Youth Baseball Softball's official Zelle Payment Account is:

For those who choose to use Zelle, make sure to include your childs name in the note section when making payment.

To Sign Up your child, you will need to bring their ORIGINAL Birth Certificate
To help make the sign up process as easy as possible, CYBS recomends that you follow the pre-registration steps outlined above to get all the proper forms and documents needed to register your ball player(s).
STEP 1.
Download the Player Registration Form Kit
STEP 2.
Locate Yuor Child's Original Birth Certificate
STEP 3.
Print out all 5 REQUIRED forms
STEP 4.
Fill in All 5 forms completely
STEP 5.
Make sure both Parents fill out their form seperately
STEP 6.
Set up payment with Zelle
STEP 7.
Enter childs name in NOTE section with Zelle
STEP 8.
Make payment to CYBS with Zelle
STEP 9.
Bring All 7 Registration forms completed and your child's original birth certificate to one of the registration sign up dates to complete the process for your child to participate.
STEP 10.
There will be a Pre-Paid Registration Table for those who utilize the Zelle payment system prior to arriving at Summerwind Park. CYBS hopes that this expedited registration process makes the time spent signing up your child as quick and easy as possible.
LATE SIGN UP PLAYERS
CYBS is proud to announce that we are having Late Sign Ups. For two saturdays Jan. 24 and jan 31. starting at 9am til 3pm. All players who sign up on Jan.24, that are not playing Shetland, will be required to tryout the SAME DAY, or the following Saturday Jan. 31. Players who sign up on Saturday Jan. 31, who are not playing shetland will be required to tryout that day.
IMPORTANT NOTE: LATE SIGN UPS ON JAN 24
Pinto (pitching machine) players need to sign up between 9am to 11am on each day. Any Shetland players can sign up any time on each day. All other levels can sign up anytime before 2pm. This allows for your player to tryout that day or on the next tryout day, Jan 31. Please bring all needed gear to tryout after registration is completed. Any player who signs up and does not tryout will be put on a waiting list.
HOW TO SIGN UP LATE
Anyone who wants to late sign up, we recommend that you download the player registration kit, print out the forms to be completed, fill in all forms completely, bring the orIginal birth certificate(s) of your player(s) to the late sign ups day. For all players in the Shetland level, no tryout are required. All Pinto level players, which is pitching machine play, tryouts are from 9am til noon on both saturdays. You will need to sign up your player(s) before noon on each saturday to be able to tryout and have the managers of that level there to grade your player.
BLIND PICK AND WAITING LIST PLAYERS
ALL Waiting list players will be assigned to a team during that levels CYBS Drafts. Any sign ups that did not tryout will be treated as a "BLIND PICK" player, which means any player team requests, play up requests, etc may not be possible.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED TO UNDERSTAND
SINCE THIS IS CYBS FIRST YEAR OF PLAY, ALL PLAYERS WILL NEED TO GO THRU THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION.
ALL PARENTS MUST COMPLETE THE CONDUCT POLICY FORMS FOR THEIR CHILD TO BE ELIGABLE TO PLAY
ALL PLAYERS MUST COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION APP, THE INSURANCE WAIVER, MEDICAL RELEASE FORM, PLAYER CONTENT CONSENT FORM, AND THE PLAYER SHIRT SIZE FORM TO BE ELIGABLE TO PLAY
FOR ALL PLAYERS WHO RETURN TO PLAY IN FALL BALL OR THE NEXT 2027 SEASON, THEY WILL NOT NEED TO GO THRU ANY BIRTH CERT. VERIFICATION SINCE CYBS WILL ALREADY HAVE AGE VERIFICATION ON FILE.
REFUNDS FOR REGISTRATION
Refunds will be issued in the following circumstances:
• Drop requests prior to the final player evaluation date of the season: Refund in full, less a $25 administrative fee, will be issued.
• If CYBS is unable to place a player on a team for the season, a full refund or credit toward a future season will be issued.
No refund or credit will be given with respect to player drop requests:
• Pinto thru PONY – no refund after the last player evaluation date.
• Shetland – no refund after teams have been formed.
PLAYER "PLAY UP" REQUESTS
ALL PLAYERS WILL NEED TO GO Thru a Player Evaluation TryOut to be eligable to "Play Up".
ALL PLAYERS MUST COMPLETE THE "PLAY UP" REQUEST Form to be considered for a "Play Up" Evaluation
FOR ALL PLAYERS who miss the Evaluation TryOut:
Players will be placed in appropriate Level and the Play Up Request will not be valid.

umpires needed for CYBS 2026 season
CYBS announces Umpires are Needed for the 2026 Season. Each Team plays a 20 game schedule, with 2 games per week for the Season. All Umpires will go thru Training for field mechanics and rules clinics to become a qualified CYBS Official. From Adults to Kids, we are needing all who are interested in being a Umpire. Men, Women, Boys and Girls for baseball and softball are welcome to participate as the season prepares to start.
cybs is now taking Applications for All Managers and Coaches for 2026 Season.
For anyone who has a child they want to coach, you will need to complete the Managers Application Form and submit to CYBS for board approval and background checks. Once you pass the background check, you will go thru some safety clinics, conduct clinics, emergency and on field medical training, and more to complete the required training for all approved managers and coaches.
Are you interested in being a CYBS official scorekeeper.
CYBS has openings for game score keepers for all levels of play in Baseball and Softball. All scorekeepers will be trainded in scorekeeping for either sport by CYBS Staff
